About this conference
Nebraska's first-ever Statewide Open Educational Resources (OER) Convening, held at Creighton University’s Harper Center. This event is hosted by the Nebraska Library Association (NLA) and supported by the Midwest Higher Education Compact (MHEC). It is part of the annual NLA College & University / Technical Services Round Table (C&U/TSRT) Spring Meeting. The convening will feature keynote addresses, interactive workshops, and presentations highlighting OER and Open Educational Practices (OEP) across higher education, K–12, and state organizations. It aims to bring together educators, librarians, instructional designers, and policy leaders from across Nebraska to share ideas, build networks, and advance open education, fostering statewide collaboration between Nebraska's NU OER Community of Practice and MHEC's NE OER State Action Team, and offering professional development and networking opportunities across higher education, K--12, and public sectors.
