NCSM Summer Leadership Academy: Intentional Leadership

The NCSM Summer Leadership Academy is a 2.5 day in-person professional learning experience designed for mathematics leaders, from the classroom to district level and beyond, who are ready to move from vision to action. Grounded in the NCSM Essential Actions Series, this academy supports leaders in clarifying what high-quality, culturally relevant mathematics instruction looks like, gathering meaningful evidence of teaching and learning, and designing leadership actions that lead to sustained instructional improvement. Participants will leave with a clear instructional vision, concrete leadership tools, and a personalized action plan they can implement immediately in their local contexts. It is for leaders who want clarity, coherence, and actionable next steps to strengthen their leadership practice, clarify equitable mathematics instruction, use evidence to guide decisions, and support teachers through coaching.
