About this conference

NCLGS Meetings are the ONLY place where you can interact with legislative decision makers. These meetings are structured to encourage a variety of viewpoints and to allow our attendees and sponsors to meet informally with lawmakers. The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) serves two vitally important functions: 1. To help elected officials in states across the nation establish sound, effective gaming policies. 2. To educate those lawmakers as to what works, what doesn’t, and how they can develop and improve gaming policies in their own communities and states. State legislators are empowered to make decisions that touch every facet of this important industry, from establishing tax rates and regulatory frameworks to determining the competitive landscape. The conference aims to tackle the industry's most pressing issues, including emerging technologies, enforcement challenges, tribal sovereignty, sports integrity, sweepstakes models, NIL rights, lottery modernization, digital transactions, cryptocurrency, consumer protection, illegal gambling enforcement, anti-money laundering (AML/CFT), human trafficking, illicit finance, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the gaming industry. It brings together lawmakers, regulators, tribal leaders, industry executives, and other stakeholders to discuss ideas and advance sound public policy.
