NCED Connect Symposium Fall 2026

The NCED Connect Symposium Fall 2026 is a premier statewide event organized by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, designed to connect people, platforms, and possibilities across North Carolina's education community. This three-day conference brings together digital teaching and learning leaders, technology directors, central office leadership, instructional coaches, NCSIS data managers and leads, and district innovators. Attendees will engage in powerful collaboration and forward-thinking sessions, exploring the latest updates on NCED Connect applications (NCEES, Schoolnet, LMS), NCSIS (Infinite Campus), School Connectivity, E-Rate, Cybersecurity, and Digital Teaching & Learning initiatives. The symposium will feature hands-on sessions led by DPI teams, regional experts, and district practitioners. Participants will discover integrated solutions for digital learning environments, learn about emerging technologies and AI integration, collaborate on best practices for connectivity, cybersecurity, and instructional innovation, and strengthen their professional networks. Additional featured events include a Student AI Solve-A-Thon, the Annual School Library Media Directors Meeting, and Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercises.
