About this conference
The National Transportation Stakeholders Forum (NTSF) Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for members and participants to engage in technical presentations, plenaries, and panels related to the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) radioactive materials transportation activities. Attendees can also receive training on DOE's TRANSCOM system, meet with NTSF ad hoc working groups, and occasionally tour manufacturing, nuclear power plant, or laboratory facilities. The purpose of the NTSF, co-hosted by the Southern States Energy Board and the U.S. Department of Energy, is to foster transparency, openness, and accountability in DOE's offsite transportation activities through collaboration with State and Tribal governments. It is intended for professionals involved in emergency management, security, inspection, transportation, environmental protection, regulatory compliance, and radiation safety pertaining to radioactive material shipments. The 2026 meeting will be particularly relevant for state, tribal, federal, and industry personnel who interact with government regulators.
