NAFTD 2026 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The North American Fire Training Directors (NAFTD) invites fire training and education leaders from across North America to attend the 2026 NAFTD Annual Conference, September 14â€"16, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Hosted by Chief Tracey Normand and the Louisiana Fire & Emergency Training Academy, this year’s conference will provide an outstanding opportunity for collaboration, professional development, and networking among state, provincial, and territorial fire training organizations. The NAFTD Annual Conference serves as a forum for leaders in fire service training and education to discuss emerging trends, innovative training methods, certification and accreditation updates, curriculum development, leadership challenges, and issues impacting the future of fire training systems. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with peers and industry partners while sharing best practices and successful initiatives from their jurisdictions.
