MMA Winter Conference

The Annual Maryland Mayors Association (MMA) Winter Conference offers networking opportunities with counterparts throughout Maryland, educational sessions with key experts, advocacy updates, roundtable discussions, and a private VIP event. It is designed for mayors to engage in education on emerging issues, advocacy efforts, and direct interaction with state leaders. The conference includes an exclusive opening reception, MMA Lunch/Chapter Reports, sessions on empowering cities, Maryland's economic forecast, municipal technical assistance, an MMA Business Meeting, and a Governors Reception. A key highlight is 'AI for Local Government', a hands-on practicum for mayors to develop local AI ordinances. It also incorporates MML Advocacy Day with briefings on legislative priorities and Statehouse visits.
