MidwestTechTalk2026 is a highly technical two-day conference designed for School District Technology Departments in the Midwest. The event focuses on the future of district technology programs, with every detail planned by current School District Technology Department staff. It is not an instructional tech conference but rather a technical department conference, offering intermediate to advanced level sessions. These sessions aim to help K-12 IT staff improve skills and gain knowledge in areas such as data governance, security, Windows Server, networking, disaster recovery, firewalls, content filters, Google Admin Console, VMware, Group Policy, PowerShell, 1:1 Best Practices, and GSuite Administration. Experienced presenters from schools across the region will share their expertise, with a significant emphasis on security in keynotes and sessions. The conference is a direct response to feedback from Midwest schools for an event purely dedicated to technology departments, fostering learning and collaboration among the region's best and brightest.
