Michigan's Interoperable Communications Conference

The 2026 Michigan Interoperable Communications Conference, hosted by the Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (MSP/EMHSD) in partnership with the Department of Technology, Management & Budget, Michigan’s Public Safety Communications System Division (DTMB/MPSCS), is designed for public safety communications experts and emergency response personnel from local, state, federal, tribal, and private sectors. The conference will delve into critical topics such as the advantages of interoperable communications, innovations in communications, data sharing, and emergency response, evolutionary changes in interoperability, and the importance of building strong relationships across agencies. It serves as a pivotal annual touchpoint for collaboration, technology exploration, and reinforcing Michigan’s strategic vision for interoperable communications, recognizing that effective communication and information sharing are vital across jurisdictional boundaries in emergencies.
