About this conference
The Fall Symposium will include presentations on "Fire Service Research & Innovation" by Dr. Sara Jahnke, PHD, Senior Scientist and Director of the Center for Fire, Rescue & EMS Health Research; "The Radiological Assistance Program (RAP)" by Lieutenant-Colonel Chad Wester, Regional Operations Manager for RAP region 5 at Argonne National Lab and the Commander of the 44th Chemical Battalion; and "current fire service issues and concerns related to collective bargaining and labor-management relations" by management attorney Steve DiNolfo and labor attorney Jerry Marzulloa. The event aims to educate on the RAP and resources available during emergencies, positively impacting firefighter safety, and improving the fire service.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorships for symposiums are $500.00. These events tend to have a greater number of attendees, including Chief Officers, Training Officers, and Union Executives. Multiple sponsors will be allowed for these events. This sponsorship includes the opportunity to set up a single table (provided by the banquet hall) for the display of handouts and information, if desired. You will be acknowledged multiple times during the event. You may also provide signage indicating your sponsorship of the event in addition to the table display. Please note that there will be no presentations by sponsors at these events.
