MAFFC 2027

The Metro Atlanta Fire Fighters Conference is an all-volunteer group of firefighters, instructors, and sponsors dedicated to providing high-quality training at minimal cost. It is not a corporate entity but rather a collective of firefighters passionate about training other firefighters. The conference aims to be a forum for superior regional training, featuring both nationally recognized and emerging instructors. MAFFC emphasizes promoting pride and professionalism across all levels of the fire service. The event spans two days of classroom sessions and two days of Hands-On Training (H.O.T.) classes, including live fire training. It also features an exhibit hall with vendors and a social 'bash night' for networking among firefighters from across the nation. Classes offered cover a diverse range of topics including Search & Rescue, Vehicle Extrications, Pump Operations, Thermal Imaging, Fire Behavior Simulator, Ladders, Victim Removal, Forcible Entry, Ventilation, Hazardous Materials, Handling a MAYDAY, EMS on the fire ground, Team building, and Company officer skills.
