LJ & SLJ Public Library Youth Services Leadership Summit

Library Journal and School Library Journal will host their annual Public Library Youth Services Leadership Summit on September 17 & 18, 2026, at Broward County Library. This in-person event gathers current and aspiring youth services innovators and public library leaders nationwide to delve into cutting-edge best practices, leadership development, and the future of library service. The Summit is designed to inspire attendees and enhance their programming and leadership practice, grounded in the belief that leadership is accessible to every library professional. The agenda for this year will cover Community Partnerships, Early Literacy, Out-of-School Engagement, Teens, Technology & Libraries, and Leadership Development, all with a commitment to advancing communities and the profession through creativity and care.
