About this conference

Hosted by Library Journal in partnership with DC Public Library, this installment of the library building and design event will bring attendees the latest trends in library design. Participants will dig deep with architects, librarians, and vendors to explore building, renovating, or retrofitting spaces both large and small that will redefine the relationship with users and engage the community. This full-day think tank provides expert panel discussions with architects and librarians, as well as hands-on, architect-led breakout sessions dealing with real-life design challenges submitted in advance. The event provides ideas, information, and inspiration for those in dreaming, planning, or advanced stages of library design projects, regardless of budget. The event is open to librarians, library board or foundation members, and the library's city planners/officials.

Sponsorship options

Product sponsorship components include online visibility with sponsor logo on the Design Institute web page, a logo and 4-colored quarter-page ad in the event booklet, a table-top display with dedicated vendor/product interaction time, post-event editorial coverage in an upcoming LJ print issue, on-site networking opportunities during breakfast, lunch, breaks, and a closing cocktail reception, seminar signage and logo identity in pre-promotion materials and at the event, and a lead generating list of attendees. Sponsorship cost for product sponsors is $4,000 net.
