Legislative Policy Conference

The Legislative Policy Conference serves as the critical forum for member municipalities of the New Hampshire Municipal Association (NHMA) to shape legislative policy for the 2027-2028 biennium. Attendees, primarily voting delegates appointed by their respective municipalities, will vote on policy recommendations formulated by specialized committees (Finance and Revenue; General Administration and Governance; Infrastructure, Development, and Land Use). This in-person conference enables local officials to directly influence the legislative agenda, ensuring that municipal concerns are effectively represented before the state legislature and agencies. The adopted policies are crucial for drafting new bills and securing sponsors within legislative deadlines, and will subsequently be published by NHMA.
