About this conference
The Leadership in Education Event is a two-day professional development and networking event held each summer. Hundreds of NYSSBA members gather to learn more about the most urgent challenges facing K-12 public education as well as best practices in school district governance. Attendees reconnect with the New York State school board community, joining fellow district leaders for solution-oriented education sessions and meaningful networking opportunities. Education sessions will focus on turning learning loss into learning gains, student mental health, the school board's role in promoting democracy, running effective and civil meetings, the governance portion of state-mandated training (for newly elected members), building unity on the board, constructive community engagement, new and veteran member roundtables, and an inspiring conversation with the NYS Superintendent of the year. Breakfasts, lunches, dinner and evening entertainment are included.
Sponsorship options
The Leadership in Education Event offers three different level sponsorships: (1) the Main Event sponsorship ($7,500), (2) the Meal Function sponsorship ($2,500), and (3) the Sponsor Showcase/Networking Breaks ($1,500). Each level provides various benefits such as company name/logo in marketing materials, video presentations, event tables, advertising, complimentary registrations, and acknowledgments.
