About this conference
The Law Enforcement Supervisors' Training Conference is an annual event for law enforcement supervisors from across the state. Attendees, who are responsible for daily patrol and investigative functions within a sheriff's office and often manage specialized units (e.g., drug task, warrant, domestic violence units), receive instruction from agencies such as the State Division of Criminal Justice Services, the State Civil Service Department, and the Homeland Security Department. Past topics have included distracted driving laws, human trafficking laws, handling fatal automobile accidents, and Internal Affairs unit operations.
