KDOT Innovative Technology Summit

The goal of this summit is to promote and share information about The Innovative Technology Program with transportation industry professionals working in public, private, and academic sectors. The event centers on showcasing innovative transportation technologies, research projects, and real-world applications funded through the Kansas Department of Transportation Innovative Technology Program. The summit is also intended to create a collaborative environment where transportation professionals can share lessons learned, explore new partnerships, and discuss implementation strategies for innovative technologies across Kansas communities. Attendees can expect programming that includes: Presentations on emerging transportation technologies and pilot projects, Research showcases from universities and industry partners, Discussions on safety, mobility, connectivity, and smart infrastructure, Networking opportunities between public agencies, private companies, and academic institutions, Exhibits and sponsor/vendor demonstrations featuring innovative transportation solutions, and Conversations around future-focused topics such as intelligent transportation systems, connected technologies, drones/UAS, software infrastructure, transit innovation, and transportation data systems.
