About this conference
The 2026 CASBO Institute is a custom-designed leadership program developed specifically for CASBO members, intentionally aligned with the real-world demands of Connecticut school business leadership. Titled 'Leading with Purpose: Strengthening Self, Teams, and Organizations in a Changing World,' the Institute is constructed to strengthen leadership capacity across the full spectrum of professional responsibility—from leading oneself, to guiding peers and teams, to navigating complex organizational change. Drawing on lessons from military leadership and real-world application in a world-class research institution (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution), this year's Institute connects personal leadership foundations to strategic, future-focused decision-making. It aims to provide practical tools to enhance leadership effectiveness, strategic thinking, and lead with clarity and purpose in an evolving K-12 and public-sector landscape.
