Inaugural Coastal Virginia Fire Leadership Academy

A three-day experience designed for fire service leaders, focusing on leadership, history, brotherhood, and purpose. The Academy will commence with a staff ride at the historic Yorktown Battlefield, led by historian and author J. Michael Moore, followed by two full days of leadership presentations featuring nationally respected fire service leaders, including Chief David Rhodes, Chief Frank Viscuso, and Chief Jarrod Sergi. This event aims to provide an opportunity to step away from daily routines, learn from historical contexts and experience, challenge existing leadership paradigms, and foster connections among professionals committed to advancing the fire service.
