IFCA 55th Annual Symposium

The 55th annual symposium will be held at the Par A Dice Hotel in East Peoria. The event will kick off on Tuesday, May 5th with an Evening Reception and an Open Forum with Attorneys Ottosen and DiNolfo. Wednesday the 6th and Thursday the 7th will bring a day and a half of speakers presenting everything from fire service leadership to artificial intelligence. The symposium will provide seven presentations, two breakfasts, one lunch, a hospitality event, a baseball dinner and social, and a raffle. It will also present the status of the transition to WAM and future happenings. Keynote and other sessions will cover topics such as Mission Focused Leadership, Artificial Intelligence & Your Fire Department, The Fire Service at a Crossroads, Ethical Decision Making in the Fire Service, Command Discipline Under Fire, and Legally Defensible Investigations.
