About this conference
Darryl Rivers will present on Solving challenging points of dialogue before they become challenging. Negotiating with individuals who have major illnesses vs. individuals with personality disorders. Dealing with suicidal subjects and the mindset of the self-aware negotiator. Jack Cambria will cover negotiating with terrorists (Pulse Nightclub incident, NYPD detective hostage situation), and Suicide by Cop Negotiation Strategies. Brandon Pierpoint will conduct incident debriefs, including facilitating face-to-face surrender, working through obstacles with SWAT, negotiating from a forward position, a standoff with a murder suspect, a thirteen-hour standoff with a cop killer, and encounters with armed suicidal subjects.
