About this conference
The Hawaii Annual Innovation Challenge (HAIC) is a rebranded annual event hosted by the State of Hawaiʻi Office of Enterprise Technology, in collaboration with the University of Hawaiʻi and the IMAG Foundation. Building upon the legacy of the Hawai'i Annual Code Challenge, HAIC fosters innovation by bringing together private enterprise, students (high school and university), and IT professionals to solve real-world challenges presented by state and local government agencies. Participants have an extended time to develop their ideas and create prototypes, with a focus on using AI innovations and emerging technologies to strengthen Hawai'i's tech workforce and modernize state services. The event provides hands-on training, opportunities to showcase skills to public and private sector hiring agents, and networking with public sector decision-makers. The culmination is a Judging & Presentation Day where solutions are showcased.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorship benefit packages are available and can be tailored. Options include Petabyte ($5,000), Terabyte ($3,000), and Gigabyte ($1,500) levels.
