About this conference
The Homicide Investigators of Texas (H.I.T.) annual four-day training conference provides professionals involved in death investigation nationwide an opportunity to speak, teach, learn, grow, and network. The 37th Annual Training Itinerary for 2026 will cover various topics including, but not limited to, the Las Vegas Strip Shooting investigation, gangs and murders, child death investigations, cold case homicide investigations (e.g., Kimberly Langwell murder), criminal interrogations in homicide cases, and the pursuit of a modern-day cattle rustler and kidnapper. The conference is designed to provide quality training specifically for members who investigate questionable deaths.
