Guardian Skies Summit

Guardian Skies Summit is a full-scale demonstration exercise and live Counter-UAS (cUAS) event co-hosted by MDA and DRONERESPONDERS at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, a federally designated drone test site and the nation’s largest National Guard training installation. The event focuses on the detection, identification, tracking, and defeat of drones, providing Counter-UAS vendors with dedicated demonstration windows to operate their systems against live drone threats in a controlled, real-world environment. It includes federal airspace and spectrum approvals for mitigation exercises such as RF disruption, kinetics, and GPS denial, and features live red-air threat simulations with multiple drone profiles and coordinated multi-threat scenarios. The summit aims to provide stakeholders, particularly State, Local, Territorial, and Federal agencies expecting counter-UAS funding through DHS grant programs, with real operational data to support high-dollar purchasing decisions for mitigation systems.
