Grounds for Innovation Conference 2026

The Grounds for Innovation Conference, also known as the Education Leadership Day, brings together educational leaders and educators for a day of learning, reflection, and forward-thinking conversations about the future of teaching and learning. Featuring Dr. Heather Collins, a cognitive neuroscientist and peak performance expert, participants will explore how insights from brain science can help schools navigate change, strengthen leadership, and create conditions where both students and educators thrive. Dr. Collins translates complex neuroscience into practical strategies for educational settings. The event includes a featured workshop with Dr. Collins for all attendees, along with breakout sessions designed for both educational leaders and classroom educators. Sessions will explore innovative practices, emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), instructional strategies, leadership approaches, and practical ideas that support meaningful learning and organizational growth. The conference is designed for those committed to leading with purpose, embracing innovation, and preparing students and schools for a rapidly evolving future. The theme is 'Brewing Ideas. Stirring Innovation.' This conference focuses on how AI can strengthen instruction, increase engagement, and support deeper learning, and how educators can embrace AI to be better educators, design more engaging classrooms, and lead with intention in an evolving educational landscape.
