The Great Lakes Homeland Security Training Conference & Expo will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026. Organized in partnership by the Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, this conference is dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of professionals involved in homeland security. Since its establishment in 1999, it has consistently attracted over 1,200 attendees, providing a platform for discussions on critical issues such as disaster management, public health emergencies, law enforcement strategies, and critical infrastructure protection.
