About this conference
This two-day Tribal-led convening will bring together Tribal leaders, health directors, epidemiology centers, clinicians, public health professionals, workforce leaders, and state and national partners. Rooted in sovereignty and focused on the future, this conference is designed to advance Tribal public health systems through leadership, innovation, and collaboration in the Great Lakes area and beyond. Conference tracks include Behavioral Health, Data Infrastructure, Indigenous Wellness, and Public Health Capacity. Panel discussions will address rural health transformation and the evolving federal landscape surrounding opioid response and harm reduction. This gathering builds on the strength of previous regional convenings while expanding the conversation to national partnerships and systems-level transformation.
