About this conference
The Governor's Hurricane Conference (GHC) is the nation's largest and best-attended conference focusing on hurricane planning, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. It provides an opportunity to learn from the successes of others, identify proven best practices, and understand what mistakes to avoid. Over 300 hours of training and workshops covering all aspects of hurricane readiness are offered, full of the latest trends, topics, tools, and technologies to improve disaster response/recovery processes. The GHC provides access to tried and true solutions and ideas for a wide range of hurricane-related challenges that can be implemented immediately, often at little or no cost. The primary target audience continues to be first-line responders to hurricane or other tropical weather events. Additionally, it serves as a forum for state and local emergency management officials to exchange ideas and recommend new policies to improve emergency management in Florida.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorship opportunities include: Audio Visual, Refreshment Breaks, New Attendee Reception, Writing Pens, and Jar Openers. The GHC, a Florida not-for-profit and 501(c)(3) corporation, relies on these contributions to maintain event quality and enhance the attendee experience, fostering partnerships between public and private sectors.
