Georgia GMIS Spring 2027 Conference

Georgia GMIS, one of the first state chapters of GMIS International, holds conferences for members semi-annually. In cooperation with the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government (CVIOG), it hosts a four-day event with management and leadership training, technical training, round table discussions, as well as opportunities to meet with conference vendors to help with agency projects and technologies. Graduates of the CVIOG's LGCIO program are presented their LGCIO certificates at the awards banquet. On the last day of the conference, Georgia GMIS members vote on various agenda items and present ideas for the following conference. Georgia GMIS Conferences provide an exchange of ideas, problems, solutions and education for today's Government IT Professionals. The event encourages Government IT Pros to join Georgia GMIS and learn how other agencies help manage the technology of today and prevent the problems of tomorrow.
