About this conference
The Georgia Clerks Education Institute Certificate Program is designed to establish minimum standards and professional goals for city and county clerks. It is presented by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and jointly supported by the Georgia County Clerks Association (GCCA) and the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association (GMCA). This program offers state mandated training for clerks, certification as a Georgia Certified Clerk, Masters Education Management Development Program, Masters Education Graduate Seminar (MEGS), and continuing education. It aims to introduce new methods and approaches, increase managerial competence, and create professional development opportunities for municipal and county clerks to meet new challenges and demands placed on local government.
