Gamer's Universe

Gamer's Universe is a free, all-ages gaming convention organized by the Chicago Public Library. Planned by the Chicago Teen Gamer's Guild (CTGG) interns, the event features a cosplay programming track, including contests, workshops, demos, and meetups. It also hosts esports tournaments as part of the Gamer's Universe Showdown Series. The convention floor includes activities with vendors and partners, an artist alley, additional workshops, and panels. Interns also contribute to marketing strategies, graphic design, swag selection, decoration, and game design, with original low-tech/no-tech games to be played at the event.
