GAME Annual Conference Hidden in Plain Sight: Ocean Discoveries Along Georgia's Coast 2026

The Georgia Association of Marine Education (GAME) Annual Conference focuses on engaging educators in ocean discoveries along Georgia's coast. The event encourages submissions for presentations that provide strong content/data correlations to the theme, reusable activities, and tangible takeaways, including shorter 'tide pool sessions' and outdoor activities. GAME, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, aims to foster a collaborative community of educators, scientists, and concerned citizens. Its mission includes providing networking opportunities, equipping educators to teach marine science concepts effectively across various subjects (science, math, language arts, social studies, fine arts), stimulating communication among those interested in marine preservation, and offering professional development, field trips, workshops, and access to marine resources in Georgia. The conference also promotes continuity between inland and coastal education and natural resource communities, aligning with the mission of its parent organization, the National Marine Educators Association.
