Welcome to the 2026 Spring ASEE Middle Atlantic Section Conference, hosted by the University of Delaware! We’re delighted to welcome faculty, educators, students, and industry partners to Delaware, for this year’s conference, themed “From Classroom to Community: Strengthening Engineering Education through Collaboration.” At the University of Delaware, we believe engineering education thrives when ideas move beyond the classroom to make a tangible difference in our communities. This conference is a celebration of that connection—where teaching innovation meets social impact, and where collaboration sparks real-world change. Throughout the event, you’ll have opportunities to engage in thought-provoking presentations, interactive workshops, and poster sessions that highlight emerging research and best practices in engineering education. You’ll also be able to network with peers, mentors, and leaders who are shaping the next generation of community-engaged engineers. We’re especially proud to showcase the University of Delaware’s commitment to experiential learning and public engagement—through initiatives like the E3: Engineering Education Ecosystem, Grand Challenges Scholars Program, and the development of curricula that integrate industry and community engagement —all of which embody the “from classroom to community” spirit at the heart of this conference.
