Forest Park Education Summit 2026

The D91 Family and Community Engagement ensemble is proud to host its 3rd annual education summit: Education is the Key: Opening Doors for Stronger School-Home Partnerships. Attendees will be able to experience a keynote speaker, breakout sessions and hands on experiences that empower caregivers as they support their youth. The primary goals are to offer opportunities for families to learn from experts in the field of education and child/youth development, create opportunities for attendees to exchange ideas and build connections to better support their children, connect families and caregivers to community resources and organizations, and equip attendees with strategies and resources. The summit offers workshops, a resource fair featuring local businesses and community partners, and networking opportunities for families of similar interest, community partners, and surrounding school district administrators. Topics for workshops include Academic Support, Community Resources, Health and Wellness, Local Governance, Parenting Skills, Social Media, Special Education, Career Readiness, and Technology.
