FLM October 15-16, 2026 Regional Meeting

The Regional Meeting, hosted by FLM President Woody Brown, begins with a unique educational experience in partnership with the Clearwater Jazz Foundation. This provides mayors with an opportunity to observe firsthand how a nonprofit organization collaborates with local government, businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to produce one of Florida's premier music festivals. The experience offers practical insights for municipal leaders on adapting strategies within their communities and demonstrating how strategic partnerships create lasting economic and community benefits. The meeting continues with an interactive Regional Roundtable at Largo City Hall, focusing on member engagement through peer-to-peer discussions, exploring common challenges, and innovative solutions impacting Florida's cities. The program may also feature presentations from community partners highlighting local initiatives and collaborative efforts supporting municipal success.
