The Find Yourself in Utah Law Enforcement Career Day is a recruitment event designed to allow individuals to explore career options within Utah law enforcement. Attendees can expect to interact with leaders from diverse policing and law enforcement agencies, ranging from statewide organizations to small rural departments. The event will feature hands-on displays, including K9s, drones, motorcycles, and helicopters. Representatives from the Attorney General's office, Utah Women in Law Enforcement, ULEAP (Law Enforcement Administrative Professionals), and Mental Health Clinicians will be present. The career day aims to showcase both sworn and critical non-sworn opportunities, such as administrative professionals, mental health clinicians, crime analysts, psychologists, and social workers, that support public safety professionals. It targets high school students, college students, and job seekers interested in law enforcement careers.
Sponsorship options
Agencies can register to participate with varying costs based on their number of sworn officers: 1-30 Sworn Officers ($100), 30-60 Sworn Officers ($200), 60+ Sworn Officers ($300). Auxiliary and Support Agencies can participate for $50. Participating vendors are responsible for bringing their own setup, including tables, chairs, tents, displays, signage, and giveaways. Specific staging areas will be provided for participants with demonstrations or special equipment (e.g., drones, motorcycles, vehicles). Power requirements should be communicated in advance.
