About this conference

Join a focused, small-group experience for leaders responsible for shaping policy, practice, and outcomes in community supervision. Held immediately prior to APPA's 51st Annual Training Institute, the Executive Leadership Summit (Summit) creates space for alignment, strategy, and leadership-level dialogue before the broader event begins. This is not a traditional training. The Summit is structured to support candid discussion, peer exchange, and problem-solving among leaders navigating workforce challenges, policy demands, and increasing expectations for outcomes. Sessions are centered on the realities agencies are facing—implementation of evidence-based practices, staffing and retention pressures, evolving supervision models, and system coordination. Participants will engage directly with peers from across jurisdictions, creating opportunities to share approaches, compare strategies, and learn what is working in practice.

Sponsorship options

APPA offers a premier Executive Leadership Summit (Summit) that precedes its 51st Annual Training Institute. The Summit is tailored for community supervision leaders and provides top-tier training, meaningful networking, and a forward-looking view of the field's future. The Summit is a formal event specifically designed for senior leaders of community supervision agencies. Therefore, participation is mainly limited to agency directors, chiefs, commissioners, and other senior executives involved in probation, parole, and pretrial services. Invitations to join the Summit are also extended to a select group of judges, policymakers, service providers, and APPA corporate members to encourage unique cross-sector dialogue and shared learning. Sponsorship opportunities provide our corporate partners with a strategic platform to build meaningful relationships and elevate brand visibility. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with senior leaders and decision-makers who are actively seeking innovative products and services to enhance their work in the field. À La Carte Opportunities include: Coffee and Carbs ($2,500), Bites and Delights ($2,500), Lunch ($10,000), Bag Stuffer ($1,000), Opening Speaker ($5,000), Reception Bar Sponsor ($2,000), Folios ($2,000), Lanyards ($3,000).
