EPA Region 6 Brownfields Conference

The EPA Region 6 Brownfields Team is happy to announce the in-person Regional Brownfields Conference being held August 25-27, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. This will be a great opportunity to meet with the EPA R6 Brownfields Team, network with other grantees and stakeholders, and enjoy downtown Dallas. The conference will focus on the three following aspects of the Brownfields Program: technical assistance, program operations, and partnerships. Day 1 focuses on Foundations: Bridging the Gap with Technical Assistance, including identifying eligibility pathways and liability protections, and establishing technical assistance intake processes. Day 2, Build Your Bridge: BF 201 Program Operations, covers developing program operations plans and defining QA and EPA oversight roles. Day 3, Strengthen your Bridge: Partnerships & Funding, aims to map cross-agency funding routes and identify strategic partnerships.
