About this conference
The 2026 Education & Innovation Seminar, titled "The Future of Water: Digital Water, Process Innovation and PFAS Management," will highlight emerging ideas, technologies, and strategies shaping the future of wastewater treatment and resource recovery. Sessions will explore topics such as innovative treatment approaches and advancing technologies for wastewater treatment and biosolids; PFAS and emerging contaminants, including regulatory considerations and treatment challenges; and data visualization and decision-support tools to improve system performance and planning. This year's seminar will specifically cover Data Visualization, Innovative Treatment, and PFAS & Emerging Contaminants. A social and networking event will be held on the evening of April 8, 2026, at The Westin Richmond, providing an interactive opportunity to connect with colleagues ahead of the seminar, including a film screening and reception. Attendees can earn up to 6 CPEs and CEUs for Wastewater Operators and Professional Engineers.
