DoW Energy & Power Summit 2026

Defense Strategies Institute’s 8th Annual DoW Energy and Power Summit will provide a forum for members of the Department of War (DoW), Military Services, Federal Government, Industry, and Academia. This ‘town-hall’ style summit allows attendees to engage in meaningful conversations on US energy and power initiatives. The conference focuses on enhancing energy efficiency, resiliency, affordability, and security across the DoW and federal government. Key topics include the energy-defense nexus, powering American dominance in the age of AI, empowering warfighter operations through robust and resilient installations, accelerating Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and microreactor deployment for mission assurance, reducing operational energy dependence, advancing naval energy resilience, and unleashing next-generation geothermal energy. The summit addresses critical challenges such as the explosive growth of artificial intelligence and its staggering electricity demands, advanced adversaries, natural disasters, aging infrastructure, and cyber-attacks, bringing together energy and power leaders to adapt to these issues, promote energy dominance, and secure power for American warfighters.
