About this conference
The annual NACTO Designing Cities Conference brings together over 1,000 people passionate about advancing the state of transportation in North American cities—engineers, planners, government agency leaders, elected officials, advocates, and other transportation professionals of all career levels. Through a packed schedule of plenaries, peer sessions, workshops, Meet the Cities, and WalkShops, attendees leave Designing Cities with the knowledge, drive, and connections to sustain their work in making safer, more inclusive, accessible, and joyful cities. Designing Cities finds a new home in a different NACTO member city each year, highlighting the incredible work that staff there are doing to create a great transportation system, as well as providing real-life examples of successes and challenges that attendees bring back to their own cities. The conference focuses on actionable, people-first design and policy to transform urban mobility.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze), with costs ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. All sponsors receive logo recognition on the NACTO website, registration portal, conference app, and printed marketing materials, plus digital materials accessible to attendees. Higher tiers include benefits such as complimentary conference registrations (up to 6 for Diamond), exhibition tables in the Conference Sponsor Area, sponsorship of WalkShops with speaking opportunities, recognition by NACTO leadership during Plenary sessions, and access to the full attendee list for a one-time pre-conference email blast. Sponsors at the Diamond level also have the option to plan and host one session. Additional add-on options to extend sponsorship reach include commemorative conference swag, coffee & refreshment sponsorship, Walkshop microphone sponsorship, headshot sponsorship, charging station sponsorship, and scholarship sponsorship.
