DCDT 50th Anniversary International Conference

The International Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT) is an international professional educational organization which is affiliated with the International Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) whose members are dedicated to shaping policies and practices that impact the quality of career development and transition services of youth with exceptionalities. The conference will feature 300 sessions covering topics such as Transition Assessment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Special Education, Transition to Postsecondary Education, Transition to Employment, Transition to Independent Living, Family/Community Partnerships in Transition, Self-Determination & Student Involvement, Personnel Preparation/Professional Development, Mental Health Issues, Introducing Transition in Elementary School, Assistive Technology & Transition, and Practitioner to Practitioner Featured DCDT Partner Showcase Sessions. The event aims to advance equitable, high-quality career development and transition services across the lifecourse for people with exceptionalities.
