Cyber Civil Defense Summit: East

The Cyber Civil Defense Summit: East is a regional gathering co-hosted by the UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) and the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC). It aims to build regional networks of cyber defenders, academics, volunteers, and policymakers to protect vulnerable public infrastructure and community organizations that uphold public life from cyber threats like ransomware. Participants will share best practices on regional cyber defense programs, highlighting New Jersey's collective defense strategies and successful state cyber initiatives such as regional Security Operations Centers (SOCs), state civilian cyber corps, cyber volunteering programs, and sector-based shared services including water, energy, and healthcare Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs).
