CTAA Leadership Academy - Cohort 8

The CTAA Leadership Academy offers a selected group of 30 rising star transit professionals a series of comprehensive courses that explore the core principles of effective leadership, strategic planning, and team management. Participants engage in dynamic workshops, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities with industry experts and peers. The program's holistic approach ensures that attendees leave with a profound understanding of effective leadership in the transit industry, empowering them to lead with integrity and vision. This immersive five-day experience provides professional instruction focusing on self-discovery, engaging learning activities, group discussions, and practical management techniques, including Concepts of Supervision, Leading with Powerful Questions, Adjusting to Change, Ethics and Values, Sensemaking, Adaptive Leadership, Performance Gap Analysis, Communications Basics, Creating Trustworthy Processes, and much more. Participants will also engage in CTAA’s Annual Legislative Fly-In, meeting with Congressional offices to discuss key legislative priorities for the community and public transit industry.
