CTA Technology Summit

The Corrections Technology Association (CTA) Annual Technology Summit brings together public correctional IT professionals from cities, counties, states, and provinces across the United States, Canada, and other countries. The summit aims to provide outreach, resources, and tools to support the corrections community in their daily duties. Key focus areas include inmate/offender population solutions and services, network models, services like tablets and secure messaging, education, re-entry programs, job searches, AI & VR technologies, prison industries, inmate/offender management (including movement, video surveillance, and emerging technologies), OMS, eHR, and re-entry lifecycle solutions. The summit also covers staff-related IT solutions for corrections, probation & parole, scheduling, automation, efficiency, agency-issued technology, infrastructure management, emerging technologies (e.g., drug detection, drones, facial recognition, AI, low/no code platforms), and organizational change management within corrections.
