The CSAC Legislative Conference is an annual event that brings together California county leaders, executives, and policy staff for three days of dialogue, learning, and advocacy. It serves as a high-level policy summit to discuss critical issues facing counties, foster collaboration between local governments and the state, and build relationships among participants. Key focus areas include legislative priorities, policy challenges in areas such as administration of justice, agriculture, environment & natural resources, government finance & administration, health & human services, housing, land use & transportation, and the state budget. The conference also features discussions on federal policy impacts, artificial intelligence in public service, homelessness, disaster readiness, and provides opportunities for specialized leadership forums and workshops.
