About this conference
The Council of Chief Judges of the State Courts of Appeal (CCJSCA) Annual Conference serves as a body for consultation and education, promoting the improvement of the administration of justice, rules and methods of procedure, and the organization and operation of state intermediate appellate courts. The annual educational conference offers a unique opportunity for past, present, and future chief judges to share ideas on common challenges, explore effective programs in other state appellate courts, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and fiscal responsibility. Unlike other programs for appellate jurists, this conference specifically addresses issues of court governance, administration, and process improvement. The education program is presented by leading scholars and jurists, qualifies for CLE credits, and has included participation by United States Supreme Court Justices, providing an excellent opportunity for members to exchange information and practical advice on the role of Chief Judges.
