About this conference
The CPOA/CGEA 2026 Convention is the annual national gathering where the membership makes decisions for the future direction of the CPOA and CGEA organizations. Attendees will participate in discussions, motions, and decisions shaping how the associations operate and support local activities. The convention includes general sessions, committee meetings, breakout sessions for CGEA, an Opening Ceremony, Gold Lifetime Member announcement, Honors Luncheon, Annual Awards Dinner, Senior Enlisted Leader/Ombudsman Panels, and a Community Service Project. It aims to foster leadership development, strengthen professional networks, and provide learning opportunities from experienced mentors. The CPOA and CGEA serve as advocates on Capitol Hill for military and veterans issues, promoting legislation to enhance the lives of past, present, and future U.S. Armed Forces members and their families.
