About this conference
For the sixth year in a row, in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg University will participate in an international celebration of GIS technology. This event brings together approximately 150-200 high school students and 200-300 professionals from government, higher education, and industry to explore the future of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geospatial technology, and workforce development. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking new information and connections, college students, and high school youth looking to explore fields in GIS. Attending the conference is free and the event is presented in a hybrid format to accommodate both virtual and on-site attendees, offering a unique opportunity to connect with practicing and aspiring GIS professionals and share technical knowledge or showcase projects within the geospatial community.
