Join us in commemorating CCID's 50th anniversary in Tucson, Arizona in February 2026! Since 1976, CCID has been instrumental in enhancing and promoting international education -- impacting policies, fostering partnerships, developing programs, and shaping curricula across community, technical and vocational colleges worldwide. As an innovative and progressive organization, CCID has adeptly steered through evolving trends, global events, and educational transformations while spanning the globe. We look forward to welcoming you to the magnificent Loews Ventana Canyon Resort to celebrate our heritage and propel globally engaged learning for our students, institutions, communities, and countries. It's not just a conference. It's a community. Focus areas include: Global Career Readiness (Intercultural competency, industry partnerships, internships/externships, job shadowing, professional training, "skilling", research); Internationalizing the Curriculum/Global Studies (Sourcing international curricula, internationalizing curriculum and assessments, comparative analysis of different cultural viewpoints, engaging diverse classrooms); Education Abroad (Risk management, advising, curriculum integration, intercultural competency, experiential learning, capacity-building, funding models, pre-departure and re-entry orientations, assessment); International Student Recruitment, Retention and Support (Recruitment and agents, onboarding and critical support, credit transfer, student retention and campus integration, student wellness, visas and immigration, risk management and cultural translations with campus personnel); Democracy, Diplomacy and International Education (Human rights, student activism, free speech, institutional relationships with State and Foreign Affairs departments, institutional advocacy, diplomatic career advising, government internships for students, model U.N. Nations and similar programs); Building Resilient Programs (Financial sustainability, B2B and leveraging partnerships, administrative risk management, strategic planning for growth, MOUs and institutional partnerships, campus-wide professional development).
